I offer high quality and individualised speech and language therapy services. I will provide an honest appraisal of your child’s needs and set realistic and achievable therapy goals. I believe that children should be offered speech and language therapy support when it is most beneficial to them and that it should reflect their needs. I work with parents to jointly decide on the speech and language therapy support that best suits their child.
When working in pre-schools and nurseries, I work alongside practitioners who know the child best, demonstrating strategies to enhance the child’s speech, language and communication skills. Parents are given the opportunity to liaise with me by email and settings and parents receive a written summary of their child’s session. I am a strong advocate for joint working. Creating a supportive communication environment around the child is essential for communication and interaction skills to flourish. When everyone understands the most effective way to support a child every interaction is an intervention.

I have a passion for helping people and strive to sensitively support the children, families and Early Years professionals that I work with. I care deeply about the work I do and getting to know children, families and practitioners is at the core of my therapy practice.
Therapy is most effective when we focus on what your child can do and my sessions are positive and fun. My therapy is focused on play based learning and sessions are planned with your child’s strengths and interests in mind.
